Guitarist and songwriter Richard Thompson joined the Outpost for a special solo acoustic concert and film screening in May 2019, and he spoke with the Outpost's John Hammond and Cindy Stagoff before the show. Richard discussed the London scene in the ‘60s where Fairport Convention developed alongside Pink Floyd and the Yardbirds, all the way up through his current touring and album, the acclaimed 13 RIVERS. He gave us background on the stories and process of classic songs like “Beeswing” and “1952 Vincent Black Lightning,” and the podcast includes an exclusive solo live performance of "Beeswing.”
