In Mark 15:33–39, we're confronted with the sobering truth of the cross. Before we can long for the life that never fades, we must first face the reality that everything in this world—including ourselves and those we love—is perishing. Every achievement, every possession, every treasure here is already slipping away. Only when we see that clearly will we truly hunger for the unfading glory of what Christ has secured for us.
Jesus has done it. The debt is paid. An eternal inheritance is waiting in heaven. The question is—will you trust Him?
