Gordon Soderberg joins Baruch to talk about Veterans Green Villages, an organization that formed in response to Hurricane Katrina. Gordon and the other veterans involved have continued, since 2005, to bring sustainable renewable energy resources along with all manner of rebuilding skills to disasters; hurricanes, tornadoes, and urban blight in Detroit.
Gordon talks about “the need to serve” which is something many veterans, and others, feel and respond to.
