Even a little pride can be enough to prevent growth. Pride manifests itself as presumption before God, love of human praise, inability to say "I was wrong", and a spirit that appears to possess all knowledge. God's cure for this type of disease is to listen to the corrective Spirit, to have a proper view of God, and to not have resentment towards God for rooting out pride. VF-2081
