Many of us have loved ones that refuse to believe in God and there is nothing we can say to convince them. The best thing we can do is keep praying for them. This life, in the "land of the living" is a place of great trials. Without God, we would have no hope and nothing to hold on to. Remember that we were all in that state before we came to the faith.
