On todays episode I start by going over some important points to remember what health really is and how knowing these points helps a lot to extend our life span and most importantly improve our quality of life.
Today the average life span is about 71 years, it goes all the way up to 84 for the people that live in Japan and can be as low as 50 years in other nations. Is this more or less or the same as our pre agricultural, pre industrial ancestors? Listen in to find out!!
Also what was the quality of life of our ancestors, especially when they reached an old age? The answer will probably surprise you!
Something really neat for my profession, Chiropractic is that our pre agricultural and pre industrial ancestors suffered from only one degenerative disease and it is the disease that I work to prevent as a chiropractor. Osteoarthritis. However it did not affect their quality of life.
