Maya AlHawary was the 1st Emirati Arab Phd Scholar to research emotional intelligence and its effect on leadership in MENA. She is a published author, the Chairperson of the board of governors at Dubai Carmel School, and a consultant in professional development. She was a Tedx speaker 2019, the 2017 & 2018 Ambassador of knowledge by UAE Red Crescent, the 2019 Tolerance knight and the 2020 Ambassador of Community Service in MENA.
