Comedian, paralegal, and Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of California, Rachel Nyx grew up an only child and a news junkie. And eventually Rachel herself transitioned into a new gender and new political identity as well, going from Republican to Libertarian. But long before then, Rachel was an accomplished Boy Scout. A strong leader who tells me about a bunch of people she admires -- she recalls the profound moment when she realized stand up comedy itself was a genre – when she first heard the comedy of the late great John Pinette, and was truly inspired.
