On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Charlotte Siemens spoke on "Pentecost in August". Specifically, she told us about the multiple layers of stories that we are all a part of, and how that affects how we interact with the people around us. There are four types of stories: my story, our story, other stories, and God's story. Though we might be more comfortable being part of our story, within our small group of believers, or think that "my" story is the most important story, we must extend our awareness beyond the smaller stories. We need to learn to understand other stories, and other people, because we are all part of God's story. Jesus came to fulfill God's story, and so should we. [JL]
