sometimes you have to go back to your roots... I grew up listening to a wide variety of music. But for a long time I was entranced with the world of the mellower style of drum n bass, or so called "Intelligent Jungle". LTJ Bukem became my hero along with his Good Looking Records artists such as (at the time) Blame, Seba, Intense, Big Bud and more. With a Style different from the dark brooding, bass heavy sounds of the traditional drum n bass, this style incorporated more jazz, ambient, and not-so-hard textures over crisp, lush, complex beats. So this is a tribute to a style I don't hear so much anymore. I have found this mix to be great while driving, so grab some gas and start up the engine... here is Elemental Forms. -Phrigid-
