Superman Distant Fires
After a nuclear war devastates the world, Clark Kent, one of the few survivors and now powerless, lives a harsh life among mutants and giant animals. He befriends a survivor, Wonder Woman, and joins a community of other survivors, including former heroes and villains, all without powers. Clark and Wonder Woman fall in love and have a child, Bruce.
Meanwhile, another survivor, Bill Batson, envious of Clark, uses magic to temporarily become powerful. His actions unknowingly restore the heroes' powers bit by bit, but also destabilize the planet. Batson betrays the community, leading to a tragic battle where many are killed, including Wonder Woman.
In a final showdown, Clark defeats Batson. Realizing the planet is doomed, Clark uses a power ring to send his son, Bruce, to safety in space, staying behind as the sole survivor.
