Description

On today’s episode, I’ll dive into my 2+ year journey (and still going) into darkness as a place of healing, development, and spiritual and emotional transformation. I’ll discuss deprogramming and discarding the stigma of darkness as a place of depression or difficulty or evil, and shedding the false dichotomy of darkness vs. light.

My darkness season, my winter season, my new moon season: this has been, and continues to be, a phase to go inward, reflect, and re-form into something new. It has been a safe wombspace, a cozy cocoon to hold me, teach me, and prepare me for sitting with grief, sadness, and anger in the some of the most difficult times of my adult life. It has been a place of literal darkness that allows me to discharge fear around connecting with spirit and ancestors. It has been a place of reflection that pushes me to embrace an evolving world view and understanding of how to move forward in right relation.
