Description

  1. As we study story we have to remember that we aren't the primary audience but that we are a secondary audience.
  2. As we study we Observe, Interpret and Apply the scriptures.
  3. We don't know for sure who the author of Judges is but Jewish tradition puts it on Samuel. It seems that the purpose was to explain how Israel became so ungodly and this was done by recounting the stories of local leaders and how God worked through them. This wasn't written to provide a chronology.
