Ez is joined by Bette Benjamin, a local trans support worker and novelist discussing her experience with the book Trans Kids by Tey Meadow - which is a trenchant ethnographic and interview-based study of the first generation of families affirming and facilitating gender nonconformity in children. Bette shares her thoughts on Meadow's research as well as sharing personal stories, ancedotes, and quotes from the book.
Bette also mentioned an excellent resource; transreads.org which is a free online book service should you be looking for access to free books and media by and from the trans community.
