Running a seedy bar in Mexico City, small-time lowlife Bennie sees a chance to elevate himself above his station when the titular job lands in his lap. His white-collar employers give him just enough rope to hang himself – and his partner, Elita – as they travel the Mexican countryside to deliver the head of a dead man to the crime boss he crossed.
