Just like Frank's firewood, we're not feeling too hot about these chapters, and we're not going especially long either! This week on Unwise Girls, Hazel's character arc gets shot to hell, a lack of stakes makes Frank's character feel ultimately irrelevant, gods and demigods working together can basically mean whatever I guess, Alcyoneus is entirely devoid of internal life, Gaea doesn't know how geography works, Thanatos points out the Doors of Me, bears have type advantage against giants, we dig deep into Rick Riordan's geopolitical opinions, and ultimately we have to ask the question: Throne of Fire had to die for this?
