Feelings are the access point to the prison in our pit. Without feeling we're not even in the game of life, let alone the game of growth.
Every emotion creates sensations in particular areas of our body, and these sensations store memories from our past. As we go through the process of pitwalking, the feelings we need to pay special attention to are the (recurring) triggers in our lives that have us stuck in patterns of behaviors that are no longer serving us.
In this episode I talk about the simple way of connecting the feelings we are having in our body to the root cause or root memory of that feeling - where it originated from.
The work of transformation requires that we find this root of pain because ultimately it is tied to a self-limiting belief.
If we are not dealing with roots, the best we can do is deal with the symptoms and create coping mechanisms in an attempt to put bandaids on the deep gangrenous wounds in our life. And at the end of the day, you wouldn't be listening to this podcast if you wanted to remain in the rot.
