For most of our lives we have been taught that it is not ok to feel and to express our feelings, and we have conformed and complied, choosing to suppress our emotions for years and even decades.

 

The end result is that we become emotionally CONSTIPATED.

 

In this constipated state, when we get triggered, we either try to stuff the triggered feelings, adding more shit to an already overflowing shitbag inside of us, or, if we just can't handle it anymore, we EXPLODE our suppressed shit all over the people around us, all too often on those we love the most.

 

In the pitwalking process, there is no way to experience liberation without first RELEASING our suppressed emotions, and doing so in a safe and healthy way.

 

In this episode I lay out a detailed process to tap into the feelings in your pit - guilt, shame, fear, sadness, blame - and then use anger as a vomiting catalyst to release years and years of suppressed emotions.

 

This step in the pitwalking process is where things begin to turn the corner.
