In this episode of The Plant Trainers Podcast, we talk with Michael DiDonato about his professional and athletic life. Michael has the biggest heart. Despite being a husband, dad, and martial artists, he has dedicated his free time to team up with Kyle Brodeur, who was paralyzed in a car accident years ago. Michael essentially assists Kyle in long distance running and triathlon races using various tools including a custom-made wheelchair Michael custom made for him. The story is quite amazing and the listen will be quite heartwarming and inspiring. We won't give too much away, but if you know anyone who would consider doing "duo sports" please share this with them. And if you want to know some of Michael's secrets of how he trains and recovers from and for these races, he shares that too. Michael DiDonato is most passionate about helping people in the special needs community through the running chairs that his company, Southbridge Tool & Manufacturing, builds. He also enjoys racing with his friend Kyle Brodeur. Kyle is physically challenged and wants to experience the thrill of the race through triathlons and road races. They call themselves "Team Unstoppable" where Kyle is the heart and soul…and Michael is the arms and legs.
