Erik Scherder is bijzonder hoogleraar klinische neuropsychologie aan de VU in Amsterdam.
Zijn fascinatie voor het brein ontstond tijdens zijn werk als fysiotherapeut, waarna hij de studie neuropsychologie volgde en in 2002 werd benoemd tot bijzonder hoogleraar. Vandaag schuift hij aan bij Hans Smit in Panorama Zondag.
