In this episode, I dive into my real thoughts….
Your journal prompts:
"What recurring thoughts or beliefs do I hold about my ability to succeed in my business?"
- Reflection: Write down any recurring thoughts or beliefs that come to mind when you think about achieving success. Are there any patterns or phrases that stand out? For example, do you find yourself thinking, "I’m not cut out for this," or "Success is too hard to achieve"?
- Action: Based on these thoughts, identify one belief you’d like to change. Ask yourself, “What new belief would better serve me?” Then, write down one small action you can take today to reinforce this new belief.
2. "When I think about my goals, do I feel excitement, fear, or resistance? Why?"
- Reflection: Explore the emotions that arise when you focus on your goals. Are you excited? Or do you feel fear and resistance? What specific thoughts are behind these feelings?
- Action: If fear or resistance comes up, consider what the underlying belief might be. Write down one step you can take to confront or shift this belief. For example, if you fear rejection, you might take action by reaching out to a potential client or sharing a vulnerable post to break through that fear.
3. "What would I do in my business if I knew with absolute certainty that I couldn’t fail?"
- Reflection: Imagine you have no fear of failure. What actions would you take, and how would you show up differently in your business? Write down anything that comes to mind, no matter how big or small.
- Action: Choose one action from your list and commit to taking it within the next week. Reflect on any beliefs that come up as you plan to take this action. If there’s resistance, ask yourself, “What belief is holding me back, and how can I reframe it to support me?”
