There’s a phrase that is often heard around St. Albert Alliance: “Putting Jesus first in everything.” When we baptize someone, the person getting baptized is asked, “Are you going to put Jesus first in everything?” It’s often heard in sermons and small group settings as we ask each other, “Are you putting Jesus first in everything?” and “How are you doing at putting Jesus first in everything?” Have you ever heard that phrase or been asked one of those questions and wondered, “What does it mean to put Jesus first in everything?” or “How do I put Jesus first in everything?” If you have, then you aren’t alone.
