Description

Every week in worship, we come together to share a meal with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Every week, we hear these words: "Take and eat, this is my body. Take and drink, this is my blood." Strange words that leave many of us with questions. Why does Jesus want us to eat him? Is it actually body and blood? That's just a metaphor, right?

In this podcast, Pastors Sam and Caleb talk about the Sacrament of Communion and how this is a meal of unity and love to be received for the forgiveness of our sins. Topics include promises, Lyft and Uber, transubstantiation, miracle math, recycling and the Sharing of the Peace. We also answer a few FAQs about Communion: 1) Who is allowed to distribute the elements? 2) If I visit a church that isn't Lutheran, should I take Communion? 3) Who can receive Communion at Redeemer? So grab a drink, pull up a seat, and join us at The Table as we talk about Communion.
