Pastor David asserts that God is not so magnified in our words, and our lives, when we simply report the truth, but is truly magnified when we rejoice in him—when we are glad in him. He is honored and he looks good when we celebrate him and his goodness to us. He is honored and magnified when we take refuge in him—and especially when we taste and see he is good in the midst of many afflictions.
