Description

"The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought..." — and calls the church back to a living, personal relationship with God rather than a checklist of instructions. Ray explains what it looks like to be guided by God's presence, to be strengthened and healed, and to become a "watered garden" and a spring whose waters do not fail. He contrasts manufactured, surface-level spirituality with the deep, sustaining work of the Spirit and emphasizes that God wants to be our source through every drought and season.

Practically, he invites the congregation into a 21-day fast, scripture reading, and intentional prayer as a way to reposition our appetites for God. The sermon includes personal stories, pastoral encouragement, and a corporate declaration and prayer to carry into 2026: not because our world will be perfect but because God will be present. If you feel dry, tired, or distracted, this is a direct invitation to return to his presence and let God satisfy and strengthen you.
