The letter to the Hebrews is an encouragement to persist with faith in Jesus. Without faith, it is impossible to please God it says in chapter six. My righteous ones will live by faith it says in chapter ten. And to prove the point, chapter eleven looks at a long line of names from the Old Testament to show that their hope was beyond this world, in Heaven. This encourages us not to live by sight, but to also live by faith in what Jesus has done for us.
