The Gospel is not based on worldly wisdom, but instead it is a revelation of spiritual truths. So it's no wonder that many people struggle to come to terms with it - because it's not "normal". The grace of God is a surprise to most people, who think going to heaven is all about being good enough. But that's worldly thinking. God's plan of salvation is more loving and merciful than we'd ever imagine, and it's only through the work of the Holy Spirit that we can see this in all it's glory!
