This object lesson is a reminder that our lives should be reflecting Jesus at all times. We should be showing Him to the world. Also, it reminds us not to walk away from the Bible after examining our lives and do nothing about the areas that need improvement. That is just as crazy as looking into a mirror and seeing you have broccoli in your teeth, but you walk away leaving it there! Use the Bible to check your life's reflection of Jesus. Are you being all that He would have you to be?
