The cross is foolish to our secular age.
To achieve status, the idea of sacrifice is counter-cultural.
The Apostle Paul told this to the young and dysfunctional church of Corinth, and his words are still fresh and applicable to us today.
I look forward to opening our Bibles to 1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5 with you all this upcoming Lord’s Day, and being challenged and encouraged by the foolishness of the cross.
