God has called us to be agents of life. As His children, we are called to share the gospel of Christ with those who do not know the Lord that they might have the opportunity to receive eternal life. Beyond sharing our faith, we are also required as disciples of Jesus to have our minds renewed so that we produce life and not death. God has given us power over death through Jesus and we must become agents of life on His behalf.
