Satan traps humans through sin and uses our perception of God to keep us enslaved to his lies. If we believe a lie to be true in our heart that lie becomes truth to us and will hold us in its power. Therefore, we must study to know the Word and God so that His truth can set us free from the lies that we perceive to be true.
