We call this coming Sunday, Palm Sunday. We call it that because as Jesus was entering the city of Jerusalem a few days before his arrest, a large crowd picked up Palm branches and waved them while shouting "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel." Some of the crowd believed Jesus was the promised Messiah, but others believed he was an imposter.
