Description

This sermon from Acts 4:23–31, preached by Pastor Jim, explores how the early church responded to persecution with united, faith-filled prayer. After being threatened for preaching in Jesus’ name, Peter and John returned to their church family, and together they turned to God.

The message highlights three key responses. First, they gained perspective through praise, recognizing God as the Sovereign Lord and Creator. Second, they made bold requests, asking for courage to keep sharing the gospel despite opposition. Third, they experienced God’s powerful answer as He filled them with the Holy Spirit and gave them renewed boldness.

Pastor Jim emphasizes the importance of praying together as a church, trusting in God’s authority over every situation, and boldly living out our faith.
