Now we are encouraged to see the power of sacrifice. In Genesis 22:1-18, every level of Abraham’s covenant with God was built on sacrifice, including the enultimate sacrifice of his son. Abraham’s journey that day shows us that God has always BEEN Jehovah Jireh. He’s just been waiting for us to see it! It’s time for God to make good on some old promises!
