Between the Trees: The Fig Tree
Jesus challenges His followers to bear fruit. Actions speak louder than words.
The tree in Genesis and the tree in Revelation are touchstones in the story of God. They tell the arc of the Bible and reveal the story of God. As we live our lives between these trees, we somehow discover true meaning and purpose. Between the trees, we discover how every day, we get the opportunity, not to be right or wrong or even to push a certain agenda, but to help reveal how God is present in the every day.
