G.K. Chesterton once wrote, “It has never been quite enough to say that God is in his heaven and all is right with the world; since the rumor is that God has left his heavens to set it right.” So as we stand at the manger, we marvel at the miracle of who this Baby was and is and how His life profoundly changed our world. He grew up. He died on the cross. He was laid in the tomb. He rose from the dead. He is seated at the right hand of the Father. And one day, He is coming back again to set our world right. Join us this weekend as we look at Jesus and consider the gift of Christmas.
I also want to encourage you to bring your best first-fruit gift this weekend as we start our two-year journey to take our next big hill together. Let’s start strong as we move into the next chapter of God’s unfolding story of DRCC.
Also, remember this weekend is our annual Children and Youth Christmas Choir. We will have four services this weekend – 3:30 and 5 pm on Saturday and 9 and 11 am on Sunday. Come early!
