Join us for a special weekend led by some of our elders, trustees, staff, and other leaders for a weekend of worship, scripture readings, and prayer. The Bible tells us God’s house shall be called a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7), we are to pray continually (1 Thess 5:17), where two or three are gathered, there Jesus is (Matt 18:20), if we ask anything according to God’s will, He hears us (1 John 5:14), and that in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we should present our requests to God (Phil 4:6). Jesus prayed often and in all kinds of circumstances. He healed people through prayer. The Holy Spirit came upon Him as He was praying. In His moments of crises, He prayed. We will do this together and then commit to a life of worship, scripture reading, and prayer. These are crucial disciplines to experiencing the abundant and flourishing life Jesus promises us.
