We wrap up our series on Summer at the Movies this week. Join our church community in one of our Sunday worship services where we will look at the movie and discover the greater truth of God’s Kingdom coming in our midst. We’ve been looking at how movies give us a way to discerningly use terms and stories of our age to talk about God and the greater truth of His Story. The movie echoes the spiritual truth that God has gifted each of us uniquely and created us to be a masterpiece! Too often, we shrink back when confronted with that idea. I am too young, I am too old, I am too inadequate, I am not brave enough, good enough, smart enough, I have too much baggage, I am buried in guilt and shame, I am broken…the list is endless. But these are false messages hiding the truth about you. It’s hidden. But it doesn’t have to be. Let’s embark on a journey this weekend to see what this masterpiece looks like.
