We are on a six-week journey as a church to love God more faithfully, follow God more trustfully, and listen to God more mindfully. Each week, we are looking at different characters from the Bible and learning how they coped with a difficult phase in their lives and came out strong. This weekend, we will look at a particularly dark season in David’s life. Yet, he was able to come out of this long and extremely challenging season of his life filled with hope and courage. We will learn from David how to stand strong with hope and courage even when life places us in a cave of despair. At the end of the service, I will lead us in communion. So, if you could have some bread and juice ready during worship, that would be great!
