When Jesus comes to town, the most unexpected things happen. You never know where He’s going to go. You never know what He’s going to do, and there is always an unexpected turn of events. This Sunday marks a very important day on the calendar in the life of the global Christian church! It’s the first day of Holy Week, also known as Palm Sunday, which commemorates the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem — an event mentioned in all four of the gospels in the Bible. It’s the only day Jesus ever rode into town, and even before He arrived, He started doing and saying the most unexpected things! Who is this guy? He raises the dead. Gives sight to the blind, and rearranges the furniture (so to speak) in the temple of God. Who does He think He is, the owner?
