This weekend, church happens on Valentine’s Day, and I’m really looking forward to our time together. The team has prepared a special element to celebrate Valentine’s Day that you don’t want to miss out on. I’ve titled my talk “Worth the Fight.” Because sometimes our faith is a fight. Our relationships are a fight; our marriages are a fight. And what comes out of the fight can be worth it, when seen through the lens of the cross.
I pray that as we head to a weekend where earthly love is celebrated, that you feel the heavenly love of God for you. Only Jesus is worthy to save us, and he looked at us in our brokenness and counted it as worthy of dying for us to restore us to God. There truly is no greater love for us to celebrate than God’s love for us revealed in Jesus Christ.
