The Elder (presbyteros): among the Christians, those who presided over the
assemblies (or churches)
• The Bishop: an overseer (episkopos): Spiritual authority to lead. the
superintendent, elder, or overseer of a Christian church
• The Shepherd/Pastor (poimainō): To feed, to tend a flock, keep sheep
• Episkopos = authority, Presbyteros = Maturity, Poimainō = responsibility
