Anger. We all experience it every day whether we realize it or not. For all of us, it’s a very natural emotion and experience. And while Proverbs will show us that we would be wise to address our anger, not all anger is bad. As God's image-bearers, we have the capacity for godly anger. But sin has corrupted our hearts, so we also have the capacity for resentment and hatred. What started out as good becomes selfish and destructive. So this morning, we want to have an honest look at anger in our hearts. We aren’t going to simply put a lid on our anger, but rather let the wisdom of Proverbs help us deal with the root problems of our anger and give us biblical hope as we face it.
