Throughout his ministry Jesus came across people experiencing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual pain. People came to Him because He was the only one who could actually do something about it. Jesus meets hurting people where they are. And while He did not do it on every occasion, oftentimes He brought about healing. When He healed the body he gave relief, but when He healed the soul He gave peace.
