If Jesus never came, we would still love others. Plenty of people loved their families before Jesus walked the earth. But we would only have a calculated and restricted love for others. We would not have seen the greatest example of sacrificial and unconditional love. Since He came, we now have a different option. We can receive and then give the limitless love of God for man.
