Life is filled with uncertainties. Most of us struggle with that. We want to know what will happen with many good things like our jobs, our marriages, our friendships, or our health. Sometimes we believe if those good things were guaranteed, then peace would reign over our hearts. John writes to the church about what is sure. He calls God’s people to look to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to find certainty.
