As we begin the Advent season, we take a look into the Old Testament to discover God’s redemptive mission. The embodiment of his mission, Jesus Christ, issues his first recorded words to his parents, “Why did you seek me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” What business did he mean? Jesus was on a mission, and now he has given that mission to his followers. Are we also going about the Father’s business?
