Aside from the most common response to “How are you doing?” being “Fine”, a close second response to that question is always, “Busy.” Do you find yourself responding that way? Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed or overcommitted? As we will see in our text this morning, Jesus cares greatly about the pace and priority of our lives. Because the truth is, the pace and priority reveal what we worship the most. So to answer the “Why are you so busy?” question is very threatening… at least to the idols of our hearts. The reality is, all of us have time for what we chose to have time for. How are you using that time?
