Jesus didn’t say “be like him” or “live like her.” He said, “follow me.” We all suffer from comparison. Comparison leads to us trying to become someone else and we fail when trying to make ourselves into someone else. Jesus, not others, is the Standard. The Father will succeed in molding us into the image of His Son. And God molds us into the image of His Son when we follow Him.
