God is truly good to his people, rescuing, providing for, and protecting those who “fear him” and “hope in his steadfast love”. This psalm was written to remind us of God’s goodness and call us to respond rightly to God by singing his praises. Each section of the psalm contains a call to worship God followed by reasons to sing God’s praises that are to fuel our worship. May God use our time together in Psalm 147 to remind us of his goodness and to cause us to sing his praises.
